Old Republic Distillery, located in York, PA, has partnered with Kim and Greg Wilson to bring their spirits to Lancaster County through the ORD Tasting Room & Tavern. The Wilsons have beautifully renovated their “barn”, on Dutchland Avenue in Ephrata, PA, to be the home of the ORD Tasting Room & Tavern, the first of its kind in Ephrata. Also known as Dutchland Center, this beautiful structure was built in 1777 and still showcases the original stone wall and wood beams giving the space a speakeasy feel. Locals will know this spot as home of Javateas Coffee Cafe and Cloister Cabinetry and now have a new reason to visit with friends to share quality, handcrafted spirits.
The ORD celebrates the art of making spirits, as flavorful and unique as York County itself, where the fertile grounds give life to some of the world's finest agriculture, and the people and history are rich with pride and strength. ORD is York County's 1st distillery since prohibition. They produce superior quality, handcrafted, small batch distilled spirits, utilizing as much local agriculture as possible.
The tasting room in Ephrata serves all the ORD spirits including vodkas, rums, whiskeys and moonshines. Samples can be tasted and ORD bottles, each bearing a story of PA history, can be purchased. PA beer and wines are available as well.
